Floral Filled GIVEAWAY - winner... xxx

Well it has to be said that it has warmed my heart how many of you have entered the cushion giveaway between my little blog and facebook.  Over 200 entries and here is a selection of some of your favourite  words that were submitted.  Quite a fair few words were duplicated but I thought you would be interested to see some, and, you may wish to borrow a few this week.  I love how some appear to be rather rude but their original meaning had no intention of this route.

I did love 'Flannel' and 'Breezy' and 'Fancy'.
But my favourite and the WINNER is 'CLAGGY'....
a Yorkshire word that you tend not to here much anymore that I used to use a lot - I do love the word 'Clart' too (not on the list) now there is a partnership in the making - 'Clart & Claggy'......

'A good Yorkshire word for thick and sticky and yuk!' says Linda from 'Flowers on my Table'.  So, congratulations Linda - the cushions is all yours but I would use all the words opposite to describe this little floral filled pillow.

So thank you once again for entering this pretty floralicious giveaway and I promise to hold another very soon. I would love to know which word, from the selection above, you would have chosen (your own is excluded by the way) - leave me a comment. xxxxx

Happy September too!!!  Sad to see Summer fading but I do love Autumn I am fond of layering and a cardigan or two.

  5. Must be an up north saying, can't say I've heard it, but certainly sounds a good description of something wet and chewy. Doolally 's a great word, have to say I use that one when describing some people! x
